Applications open for Teton Artlab Visiting Artist in Residence fellowships

From the Teton Artlab:

Teton Artlab assists visual artists by providing studio space, exhibition and performance opportunities, and access to shared resources.

We offer the only residency program within one hour of two National Parks, Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Artists have access to endless miles of trails, rivers, and forest right out of the door. This part of Wyoming is truly one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes.

Our Visiting Artist in Residence fellowships provide housing, private studio space, and access to our multipurpose studio AT NO COST TO THE ARTIST. To insure a diversity of backgrounds and income levels, we also offer additional financial support in the form of travel and food stipends to artists in need. In return, we ask that each artist share their work with our community through open studios and presentation of their work.

Applications are due Oct. 1, 2015, for residencies beginning Jan. 1, 2016. Artists will be notified of their time slots by Nov. 1, 2015.

There is no fee for residency except the nonrefundable $25 application fee.
