Growing up in small historic towns nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of southwest Virginia, Virginia Moore developed an early and deep love for mountain landscapes. In 2007, she moved west to Lander, Wyoming in the foothills of the Wind River Range, and also lived for several years in the Canadian Rocky Mountains of Alberta. During this time she developed her landscape painting style, which falls somewhere on the spectrum of impressionism and photo-realism. Virginia moved to Jackson in October 2015.
