Pioneer Pop Up Dinner, part two, at Ringholz Studios with plates, bowls and cups by Alpine ceramist Jenny Dowd, recipient of a 2011 WAC visual arts fellowship.

From an article in Dishing magazine:

On the heels of the success of the first Pioneer Pop Up dinner, Dishing magazine and Chef Rene Stein will be putting on our second feast Feb. 27 and 28 at the Ringholz Studios.

The first dinner featured dishes such as Wyoming winter vegetable gazpacho and three-month aged beef shoulder with mustard, potatoes and a Haderlie Farms butter sauce. The six-course meal focused on local meat, produce and dairy, using traditional techniques in a modern and unique atmosphere. The second event will feature new dishes while keeping the same amazing ambiance created by the extensive collaboration with local artists and producers.

Michelin star chef Rene Stein, formerly of Seasonal and Hospoda in New York, and the Cakebread Ranch in Thayne, teamed up with Dishing a few months ago with a shared vision of creating a new pop up dining experience in Jackson. All of the plates, bowls and cups were created custom for the event by ceramicist Jenny Dowd from Alpine. There will be wine served by Jackson Hole Winery, cutlery from New West Knife Works, product from Vom Fass used in the cooking, beef from Lockhart cattle, even local salt from Yellowstone Salt Company. Fleur De V events will be transforming the already amazing space inside Ringholz Studio to make the dinning experience truly exceptional

Tickets for the 5:30 and 8:30 on Feb. 27 seating and the 7:30 seating Feb. 28 can be found at www.pioneer.bpt.me. The last event sold out in 6 hours, so make sure to get your tickets to this amazing event before they are all gone.
