Verismo Trio (Nicole Riner, flute; Scott Turpen, saxophones; Theresa Bogard, piano) has thrilled audiences across the country with their dynamic performances. Celebrated for their brilliant virtuosity and colorful musicianship, the trio performs everything from Debussy to Latin jazz for a wide array of audiences. Recent appearances include a tour of the Pacific Northwest and the 37th Festival de Musica in Goiania, Brazil. The musicians are active in promoting living composers’ works and have commissioned and premiered several new trios. Verismo Trio is featured on the new CD Chamber Music of Jennifer Higdon, available on the Albany Records label.  Their debut trio album, cloudServer, was released in June 2015 on the ACA label. As teachers, Verismo Trio members are dedicated to training young chamber musicians in school residencies and guest master classes.
