The WAC offers annual creative writing fellowships on a three-year cycle among poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction. It also oversees the annual Neltje Blanchan and Frank Nelson Doubleday Memorial Writing Awards. The WAC recruits professional out-of-state writers to judge these competitions. Winners in each category are featured in an annual public reading. Current B/D application.
Individual Artist Professional Development (IAPD) grants are available to individual artists in the literary arts category. Click here for more information.
Individual artists in all categories may also apply annually for the WAC’s Artist Roster.
