The Wyoming Arts Council provides opportunities for visual artists in the form of fellowships, Individual Artist Professional Development (IAPD) grants and the artist roster.

The visual arts in Wyoming are blessed by a wide variety of artists working in all kinds of mediums!  The most recent Creative Vitality Index, which measures a variety of indicators, clearly shows that visual arts are flourishing in Wyoming.

The Wyoming Arts Council is honored to provide services for visual artists in Wyoming. A current list of services includes:

• Artist Image Registry. Any Wyoming artist can be part of the registry by sending in this simple application and some images.
• Wyoming Arts Council Artist Roster
• Visual Arts Fellowships
• Biennial Fellowship Art Exhibition
• Individual Artist Professional Development Grants
  
• Art in Public Buildings opportunities
• Convenings such as CLICK! A Weekend for Wyoming Visual Artists
• Governor’s Capitol Art Exhibition, a partnership with the Wyoming State Museum
• Technical Assistance and Information. Check out the WAC news blog, which is constantly updated.

Some of these opportunities require membership in the Artist Image Registry.
