Wyoming Arts Council

The past two years, the Wyoming Arts Council has partnered with other arts groups to sponsor workshops and presentations for the state’s visual artists.
In spring of 2009, WAC teamed up with the University of Wyoming Art Museum’s “Public Art Symposium” at the Hilton Garden Inn in Laramie. WAC fellowship jurors made presentations as part of the symposium. The WAC wrapped up the symposium with a reception where we announced the winners of that year’s fellowships.
In 2010, we traveled to Casper for an April 23-25 symposium which included a 20:20, sponsored by the UW Art Museum, and a series of presentations by fellowship jurors. This event was held thew same weekend as the annual High School Arts Symposium and WyoPoets conference.
