Remembering 9/11 with readings and music and art

The Cheyenne Interfaith Council invites you to a ceremony marking the 10th Anniversary of the attacks of 9/11. Wyoming man of mystery Craig Johnson shares this bit of good news (from the Shelf Awareness blog): A&E has given Longmire, based on Craig Johnson’s Walt Longmire Mystery series of novels, a 10-episode order, Deadline.com has reported. The pilot, which was directed by Chris Chulack, stars Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bailey Chase and Cassidy Freeman.

UW history professor Phil Roberts named "Outstanding Educator of the Year"

University of Wyoming history professor Phil Roberts has been recognized for his efforts to teach about emigrant trails in the state. The Oregon-California Trails Association presented its “Outstanding Educator of the Year” award to Roberts recently.
