The winners of the 2016 visual arts fellowships were announced at CLICK! A Weekend for Visual Artists in Cody April 10-11. They will be awarded in June or July, 2015. The 2016 and 2015 fellowships were close together in order to change the reporting schedule for fellowships to better align with state and federal reporting processes.
Each of the following will receive a $3,000 award:
Honorable mentions were awarded to Wendy Bredehoft, Margaret Haydon and Doug Russell of Laramie, and Tawni Schuler of Sheridan.
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
