News from Dancers’ Workshop in Jackson:

Summer has finally arrived in Jackson Hole, and with it comes a new schedule of events at Dancers’ Workshop. The endless amount of outdoor activities to choose from in the Greater Yellowstone area are one reason why many flock to Jackson in the summer.  The art fairs, music festivals and Dancers’ Workshop Summer Presenting Series are another.

We are looking forward to kicking off our Summer Presenting Series with Contemporary Dance Wyoming (CDW) next week for two shows June 18th and 19th at 8 pm. DW also welcomes back New York City Ballet MOVES July 21st-25th and Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Dance Company August 11th-15th to perform in the intimate, 500-seat Center Theater at Center for the Arts.

Registration is now OPEN for Summer School Semester.  Be sure to check out the Summer 2015 Dance Schedule, 4- 5-week ongoing dance sessions, Summer Dance Camps,  Master Classes with New York City Ballet MOVES and Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, and 2-Week Intensive Dance Camps offered for ages 8 and up are just a sampling of what we have to offer.

With year-round rehearsals, informal showings and a busy education and outreach schedule, summer is when Contemporary Dance Wyoming gets their chance to shine on stage for the Jackson community.

Dancers’ Workshop presents its resident Modern Dance Company and our hometown artists, Contemporary Dance Wyoming in new work together by Artistic Director, Babs Case and guest choreographer, Jonathan Royse Windham (Gallim Dance).

Infused with new members formerly of visiting companies (Elisa Monte Dance and Gallim Dance), CDW presents bold original work, showcasing the strength and athleticism of this ensemble.  All ages are welcome!
