Art Association sponsors March 14 symposium on “photographic composition”

The Art Association-sponsored Teton Photography Group is hosting its fourth public educational symposium entitled “Photographic Composition: How to create attention-grabbing photos” on Saturday, March 14, in the Black Box Theater at the Center for the Arts in Jackson, Wyoming.

The daylong symposium (from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.) will feature speakers covering different aspects of image composition. Architecture, animals, landscapes, people, and still life will be covered. The symposium is open to the public and is aimed toward beginner and intermediate photographers who want to improve the quality of their photographs. Each session will include a presentation and time for discussion. The sessions will be interactive and will be followed by a general question and answer discussion session.

Featured lectures given by Aaron Linsdau, David Agnello, Ed Lavino, Thomas Macker, Heather Erson, Roger Hayden, Chase Dekker, and Richard Tambor.

Reservations can be obtained from the Art Association of Jackson Hole by calling 307-733-6379 or from the Art Association office on first floor of the Center for the Arts, 240 South Glenwood Street, in Jackson. A donation of $35 for advanced reservations is requested. Registration includes coffee and refreshments.
