Arts Advocacy Day today in Cheyenne

AAD_WY_2

This invitation comes from Jo Crandall of Pinedale and Steve Schrepferman of Cody, co-chairs of the Wyoming Arts Alliance:

You do not want to miss Arts Advocacy Day!  Your elected officials need to know why the arts should be supported – and the Wyoming Arts Alliance gives you the opportunity to tell them.

Therefore, on behalf of the Wyoming Arts Alliance, we would like to welcome and invite you to Arts Advocacy Day at Wyoming’s State Capitol on Friday, February 28.

Once again WyAA will host a state Arts Advocacy Day where we will emphasize the impact of the arts in all 23 counties.  Combining the event with a personalized approach will help to influence legislation and to promote the economic, educational, social, and cultural power of the arts.

Friday, February 28, noon-2 p.m. in the wist side atrium of the Herschler Building in Cheyenne.

  • Escort your legislator to lunch
  • View art work from students in the Herschler tunnel
  • Hear the 70 voices of the UW Singing Statesmen perform from 12:15-12:45 p.m.
