This notice comes from the Wyoming Arts Education Association Facebook page:

These workshops this weekend will be an amazing experience for anyone who comes. Patricia Moura, the instructor, is a renowned biojewelry designer from Brazil. Biojewelry is jewelry made out of seeds and nuts found in Brazil and hand processed by the women who are partnering with this program. All the donations and proceeds from this project go directly back to the women who process the seeds and nuts to purchase portable mammography equipment to take to rural areas and do breast cancer screenings.

There are three hands-on workshops, all of them are free (donations are welcome). The first workshop on Saturday will be accessible even for children, they are anticipating this should work for any child who has enough fine motor skills to put beads on a wire.

If anyone wanted to participate in all three, they will scaffold techniques and complexity. However, there will be help available for anyone coming in with no or little skills or knowledge of the process at each workshop as well.

Space is limited to 20 participants for each workshop, so it is important to register right away. Call 307-760-8279.
