The Cheyenne Artists Guild and the Cheyenne Greenway Foundation are sponsoring a competition for a design of Public Art for one of the wing wall insets of the Lincolnway Greenway underpass into Holliday Park in Cheyenne.
Artists’ submissions will be reviewed, and final selections will be made by a committee appointed by the Cheyenne Greenway Foundation. A total amount of up to $12,000 is available for this project. This amount includes all design fees, materials costs, labor for fabrication and installation, an identification label and all necessary costs involving planning, completion, delivery and installation of the project. All other travel is the responsibility of the individual artist.

The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
