What: Big Horn Basin Folk Festival
Where: Hot Springs State Park, Thermopolis, Wyoming
When: August 1-2, 2015
Several opportunities to participate:
1) Juried Art Show & Sale
Juror: Steve Schrepferman, Cody, clay artist, Wyoming Artist Roster (www.steveschrepferman.com)
Media: textiles & fibers, pottery/clay/ceramic, glass, wood, paper, mixed media, leather, animal-related (horsehair, skulls, tanning, taxidermy), basketry, beadwork, metal, art of the hunt. Note: Fiber animals welcome but space very limited; please contact bhbfolkfestival@gmail.com. Especially interested in (but not limited to) artisans, folk artists and fine artists working in central and northern Wyoming and the Wind River Reservation.
2) Kiwanis Trading Post
Media: all, including edibles (food, herbs) and consumables (soaps, candles) – excellent opportunity for family-oriented activities and related arts or outdoor activities.
3) Food Vendors
Looking for good quality and fresh foods and confections.
