News from Claire Marlow in Casper:
Art 321 (Casper Artist Guild), Goedicke’s and Scarlow’s are starting an art walk on Thursday, June 4.
We have confirmed 11 participants so far, all which have scheduled music, artist receptions, food, pop shows and working artists in their locations. We are hoping to get most businesses between The Nic and Art 321 to participate with music, food, art shows, poetry, etc. The walks will last April-December, 4-9 p.m., every first Thursday of the month. We are working on a digital map and info sheet with business contact and nightly event info, that all business will handout and advertise with. We would like to send you one, once they are complete.
We are very excited about adding this event to Casper’s art scene and are determined to make it a success for years to come! We are also building an artist list, with contact info and their genres of art. We intend to continuously grow this list and use it to bring in new faces, ideas and art as well as provide businesses that may not have connections to the art world but that want to participate, the opportunity to have an artist show/perform in their space during the walk. Feel free to send any artists our way — the more the merrier.
