Casper Theater Company launches it first season this summer

From the Casper Star Tribune’s Town Crier:

Casper Theater Company is pleased to announce the creation of a new semiprofessional nonprofit theater company in Casper. It’s seeking actors, nonprofit board members, directors and more. Its mission is to produce the highest quality well-known wholesome classic plays. The group will also provide workshops for teens, summer family historic tours of downtown, an annual cemetery tour, dinner theater, and provide entertainment (Christmas party, convention, family reunion or for any occasion).

The CTC has set a very ambitious season of plays and activities. Starting in August we will present our first production of the season, and continue through June 2016. In addition to the full season of plays, there will be a little dinner theater, and some downtown walking tours — in July, “The Haunted,” and August, “Casper Killings.” Both tours are on Friday nights. In October, the plan is to do a Highland Graveyard Stroll, to meet the characters of Casper’s past. Our new season is as follows:

“Visiting Mr. Green,” August 13 to 16 and 20 to 23 (auditions June 29 and 30 at 7 p.m.); “Misery,” in October; “Gift of the Maji,” December; “Crimes of the Heart,” February; “To Kill a Mockingbird,” April, and “Marrying Walt,” in June.

Our shows run Thursday through Sunday for two consecutive weekends. Exact dates are yet to be determined.
