Character Descriptions:

McGill: late 40s/50s/early 60s.  Owner of a large cattle ranch just outside of Yellowstone, McGill is a no-nonsense businessman, who staunchly opposes the reintroduction of wolves to area.  When several of his cattle are killed by wolves, he stirs the pot of political opposition in the local communities.  He is also the father of Owen’s crush, Zoe.

Senator Harris: late 40s/50s/early 60s.  Senator Harris is a conservative strongly aligned with the ranching community.  He’s concerned about the economic impact of the wolves and feels pressured to protect the livelihood of his constituency. 

Teacher:  30s/early 40s. Male or female.  High school chemistry teacher.  A young teacher with a sense of humor and a commanding presence.  He/she is relatable enough to make high school science interesting, but is still a respected authority figure to the students. 

Reporter 30s/40s/50s.  Male or female.  A reporter for a local news affiliate, he/she is smart, articulate and assertive.  He/she is always ready to jump into a heated situation in the interest of a good story.
