The community is invited to a free chamber music concert on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 5:30 p.m. at the Center for the Arts in Jackson.
Featuring musicians from Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir, The Jackson Hole Chorale, The Jazz Foundation of Jackson Hole, and The Jackson Hole Symphony Orchestra, Falling for Music is the first concert in the Music in Harmony Concert Series – a series of concerts presented in the beautiful and welcoming space of the Center Theater Lobby. Funded in part by the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole and the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, the Music in Harmony Concert Series is coordinated by Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir.
“There are few opportunities in Jackson to experience true chamber music, where small groups of musicians perform within arm’s reach of the audience,” commented Laura Huckin, Artistic Director for Cathedral Voices. “This first concert, which showcases some of the wonderful local talent within our community, will surprise audiences with music that is fun, festive, and lively!”
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
