Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir stages "Falling for Music" chamber concert on Nov. 5

The community is invited to a free chamber music concert on November 5 at 6 p.m. at the Center for the Arts in Jackson.

Featuring musicians from Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir, The Jackson Hole Chorale, The Jackson Hole Community Band, The Jackson Hole Brass Quintet, and The Jackson Hole Symphony Orchestra, Falling for Music is presented in the beautiful and welcoming space of the Center Theater Lobby.  Refreshments will be available and all ages are welcome to this short but sweet performance.  For more information, visit www.cathedralvoices.org.

This year, Falling for Music returns to the roots of traditional chamber music with performances of classic works from Francis Poulenc, J.S. Bach, and Thomas Morley, among others.  “There are few opportunities in Jackson to experience true chamber music, where small groups of musicians perform, literally, within arm’s reach of the audience,” commented Laura Huckin, Artistic Director for Cathedral Voices. “We love offering these après work concerts. We keep them under an hour so they are the perfect stop after a long day—take a moment, and relax with some music.”

Supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts, the Laura Jane Musser Fund, and the Cultural Council of Jackson Hole/Town and County Arts for All.
