“Heart Beats” in Jackson Feb. 13

Cathedral Voices and the Jazz Foundation are pleased to present an evening of music celebrating Valentine’s and all things Love-ly on Friday, February 13, from 7:00-10:00pm in the Theater Lobby at the Center for the Arts in Jackson.  Flash back to entertaining, favorite songs from the ’70-‘90’s along with big band jazz and swing.  Dance or just hang out and listen and mingle with friends!  Cash bar and light nibbles available.  A $5 donation is suggested; however, the event is free and non-ticketed.

What do you get when you put a jazz band and a chamber choir in a room on Friday the 13th?  “A truly entertaining and eclectic party,” said Laura Huckin, Artistic Director for Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir.  “The Jazz Foundation will perform lots of favorite and memorable swing numbers, and Cathedral Voices will entertain with songs from classic artists such as the Bee Gees, Diana Ross, Dusty Springfield, and Van Morrison, to name a few,” she continues.  “We are also proud to have Aspen Jacquet, the winner of our 2014 Sing Off competition, singing a featured set.”

Supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts, the Laura Jane Musser Fund, and the Cultural Council of Jackson Hole/Town and County Arts for All.
