Chamber music concert Feb. 13 in Jackson celebrates love songs

News from Cathedral Voices in Jackson:

Stop by the Center for the Arts for a free chamber music concert on Thursday, February 13, at 5:30 p.m. in the Theater Lobby.  Featuring talent from the community’s five music organizations—Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir, Jackson Community Band, Jackson Hole Chorale, Jackson Hole Symphony Orchestra, and the Jazz Foundation — A Work of Heart is the second concert in the Music in Harmony Concert Series presented by Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir.  Re-live some of your favorite love songs from the Bee Gees, U2, The Emotions, and others.  Refreshments will be available, and all ages are welcome to this 45-minute performance.  For more information, visit www.cathedralvoices.org.

Funded in part by the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole and the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, the Music in Harmony Concert Series presents free, après-work performances in the beautiful and welcoming space of the Center Theater Lobby.  With Valentine’s Day approaching, we couldn’t resist the urge to perform songs with some kind of love theme,” commented Laura Huckin, Artistic Director for Cathedral Voices Chamber Choir and organizer of Music in Harmony.  “A Work of Heart showcases the wonderful talent within our community and will surprise audiences with music that is upbeat, modern and dramatic!”
