Creative placemaking continues in downtown Rawlins

Tickets for the third annual Passion & Pride Ball on Saturday, September 10, at the JeffreyCenter are for sale now at the Rawlins DDA/Main Street Office in the Rainbow TetonEntrepreneurCenter at

116 4th Street, Rawlins

. Theme for this year: “Music of the Night.” Tickets are $60 per person and include a plated dinner, live band, live auction, and fun all night long.

Monies raised will be used by

Rawlins DDA/Main Street

to fund Phase 1 of the Rawlins Downtown Plan (for more information see below). Some auction items this year include:

·         An Exotic Trip with beaches and warm breezes

·         Weekend Getaways with lovely vistas

·         Original artwork by local artists

·         A Murder Mystery Dinner for 10

This event is formal, black tie optional. Limited tickets are available, so please call 307-328-2099 or stop by now to get yours.

The money for Passion & Pride for 2011 has been set aside to create more parking in downtown and to increase walkability. This is the first phase implementing the Rawlins Downtown Plan (click here to download). For more information on what the money will be specifically used for, click here.
