Tenley Thompson is an artist from Jackson Wyoming. Her work features hand built and wheel thrown stoneware ceramics, textiles and photography. Originally a wildlife biologist, Tenley’s functional work reflects the wildlife and landscapes of the national parks of the rocky mountains. Her platters, bowls mugs and plates are strong enough to use everyday in a kitchen but each is delicate enough to be a work of art. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. Tenley is a Grand Teton artist in the environment for 2016 and her work has been exhibited around the rocky mountain region and in various national publications.
