Taylor was born and raised in Torrington, WY. She received her B.F.A. in Theatre & Dance and Communication with emphases in Dance Performance and Public Relations from the University of Wyoming in 2014. Currently, Taylor is working on her M.A. in Dance Education through the University of Northern Colorado. Kath has been dancing since the age of 4 and grew up in her mother's studio. She took lessons from both Stephanie Kath and Lisa Fluckiger.

She has trained in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Ballroom Dance, and Pointe. She began her teaching career in the fall of 2008 at her mother's dance studio and has since then taught at Evanston Dance Academy and more recently, Artistry in Motion in Rock Springs, WY. Kath has had the opportunity to assist with classes at Manhattan Dance Project in Seattle. Additionally, she's been to various workshops, master classes, and festivals around the region. At UW, Taylor was cast in Carmina Burana, From the Ashes: A Cinderella Ballet, Continuous Momentum: The Works of Bill T. Jones, The Nutcracker, and various concerts. Taylor's choreography, Etched, was chosen to be performed at the American College Dance Festival in Cedar City, Utah in 2013. She has a knack for adventure and traveled to London and Paris in the spring of 2013 to take dance classes, see shows, and study Art. Taylor's main artistic goals are to instill drive, passion, confidence, and self-esteem in her students.
