Founded in 1978, the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate a rich educational space for the diverse, international community served by, and rooted in, the American western legacy of Cheyenne Frontier Days™.

The Museum hosts three art shows every year. In March we have our Western Spirit Juried Art Show for new and emerging Western Artists. During Cheyenne Frontier Days™ we have the CFD Western Art Show and Sale. This invitational show is one of the premier western art shows in the nation with over 50 of the top western artists. Finally, in November we have our New Frontiers Juried Art Show. This show focuses on contemporary interpretations of the American West.

We invite everyone to come in to experience these different shows and the tradition of western art.
