Westbound 40 was established in 2008 in Laramie, WY as a college band and now has become a nationally touring act. The band plays at county fairs, festivals and rodeos to bars and dinner cruise boats in the south. The music consists of covers from Joe Walsh to Waylon Jennings to their originals. The band is a country rock band with a large folk influence. Some of Westbound 40's greatest achievements are preforming at Green River Days, Jubilee Days, and in Key West Florida.
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
