Shreve Stockton is an award-winning photographer and author of four books. Her latest book, Meditations with Cows, weaves together memoir, science, and thoughtful reflection to explore the intersection of ecology, agriculture, conservation, and an equitable food system for all.

In 2005, Shreve became enchanted by Wyoming while riding across the United States on her Vespa scooter. Instead of moving back to New York City as planned, she set down roots at the base of the Bighorns.
