Description:

Nicholas Trandahl is a U.S. Army veteran, poet, newspaper journalist, and outdoorsman. He lives in Wyoming with his wife and three daughters.
His poetry collections are Pulling Words, Think of Me, Bravery, and most recently Mountain Song. He also has published a novel, Good Brave People.
Trandahl’s poetry collection Bravery was the recipient of the 2019 Wyoming Writers Milestone Award, and his poem “Francis and Sistani” has been nominated for the 2021 Pushcart Prize. His poems have been published or are forthcoming in various literary journals and anthologies, including but not limited to the James Dickey Review, The Mountain: an Anthology of Mountain Poems, Sky Island Journal, High Plains Register, The Dewdrop, Resurrection Magazine, Duck Head Journal, Dreich Magazine, Voices de la Luna, Deep Wild Journal, Wild Roof Journal, and an anthology from the New York Quarterly themed around spirituality and faith.
Additionally, Trandahl serves as the Chairman of the annual Eugene V. Shea National Poetry Contest and is the poetry editor for the literary journal The Dewdrop.
