Description:

Tina Ann Forkner lives and writes in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Her novel, Waking Up Joy, was a 2015 finalist for the HOLT Medallion Award. She is also the author of the novels The Real Thing (Tule Publishing), Ruby Among Us (Random House), Rose House (Random House), and Nashville by Heart. Tina earned her Bachelor's in English from California State University, Sacramento and is the 2021-2022 President of WyoPoets, a Past President of the Laramie County Library Foundation Board of Directors, and a member of Women's Fiction Writers Association, Wyoming Writers, Inc. She is an adjunct writing instructor for the Drexel University Low Res MFA Program and teaches writing seminars in Cheyenne for the Laramie County Library and for Laramie County Community College's Life Enrichment Program. Besides being a novelist, Tina's poems have been published in literary journals including "Poetry Now: Sacramento's Literary Calendar & Review," "Poetry Depth Quarterly," "Serendipity Poets," and "Moxie." She is married to Albert and they have three adult children.
