Tina Ann Forkner lives and writes in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Her novel, Waking Up Joy, was a 2015 finalist for the HOLT Medallion Award. She is also the author of the novels Waking Up Joy, Ruby Among Us, Rose House, The Real Thing, and Nashville by Heart. Tina earned her Bachelor's in English from California State University, Sacramento and is Past-President of WyoPoets, a Past-President of the Laramie County Library Foundation Board of Directors, and a member of Women's Fiction Writers Association. She is an adjunct writing instructor for the Drexel University Low Res MFA Program and has taught writing seminars in Cheyenne for the Laramie County Library and classes for adults and children as part of the Laramie County Community College's Life Enrichment Program. Besides being a novelist, Tina's poems have been published in literary journals including "Poetry Now: Sacramento's Literary Calendar & Review," "Poetry Depth Quarterly," "Serendipity Poets," and "Moxie." She is married to Albert and they have three adult children.
