Description:

For many years, I have played around campfires and chuck wagons at Jackson Hole dude ranches. My mix of cowboy tunes, country/western, folk and Americana songs has entertained guests from far and wide. For seven summers, I sang at Triangle X Ranch. I have also played at Lost Creek, Jackson Lake Lodge, Bar T Five, Snake River Ranch and Gros Ventre River Ranch.

I have played in concerts and jammed with great musicians at cowboy poetry and music gatherings at Elko, Nevada; Cody and Riverton, Wyoming; Monterey, California; Utah, Idaho and Washington. While living in Montana, I organized, ran and recorded concerts at the Virginia City Cowboy Gathering.

I have played country/western music and classic rock 'n roll for 16 years with the Stagecoach Band in Wilson, WY as rhythm guitarist and singer. For the last nine years, I was bandleader. I formed the highly successful "Bluegrass at Seven" band, which played the early set at the Cowboy Bar in Jackson. Six nights a week, we whipped up the crowd with traditional bluegrass/newgrass and contemporary country music. At the Silver Dollar Bar in the Wort Hotel I have played requests for Hank Williams, Waylon and Willie, Patsy Cline and other classic country/western songs.

Throughout my Jackson Hole years, I have played for many private parties and conference gatherings including Western States Governors, Federal Reserve Board Conferences and US/USSR Ministerial Summit Meeting for James Baker and Edouard Schevardnadze. At one wedding gig, the Stagecoach band was joined by guest artist Bob Dylan and at another, by Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead. Dropping in on us at the Stagecoach Bar have been Ian Tyson, Tom Paxton, Tim O’Brien and Jerry Jeff Walker.

A new folk revival in the Jackson area began with Jackson Hole Hootenanny at Dornan’s. Here, local musicians get together weekly and play folk and bluegrass music before a packed and appreciative crowd. I have performed many times at the “Hoot” both as a regular and featured artist.

I offer a repertoire of Classic Western, Country, Folk Music and Americana for you and your guests’ enjoyment.

My CD, “Trails West,” featuring traditional and contemporary cowboy songs is available on iTunes, CD Baby, Spotify and many other music sites. You may view my performances on youTube at these links:
