Description:
Exploring the rugged mountains and vast prairies of Wyoming has given me a lifetime of inspiration for my art works. These close contacts with our natural world and its inhabitants are a necessary element in my sculptures. Thus, the spirit portrayed in my wildlife art is more honest and believable.
I use the permanence of fire-cast bronze to capture what excites me, whether a bird in flight or running buck. These sculptures allow me to relive a moment witnessed, but now lost to time.
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
