Indie-roots musician BENYARO—who’s worked with Gary Clarke Jr., Brett Dennen and Shovels & Rope—announces the release of his fourth full-length album, the 'Searching for Fortune' original score & soundtrack. The album is a collection of Americana songs that accompany the feature narrative film starring John Heard (Big, Home Alone) and debuted at Queens World Film Festival in 2017.

Benyaro, brainchild of multi-instrumentalist BEN MUSSER, wrote and performed the original score that sets the mood for 'Searching for Fortune', a dusty-tale of self-discovery set in the Mountain West. The film and score reflect that space. Additional songs were composed by MALCOLM HOLCOMBE and Scott Claassen. Joining on upright bass is touring partner LEIF ROUTMAN and legendary engineer Danny Kadar (My Morning Jacket, The Avett Brothers) mixed the original score.

Benyaro has performed at Targhee Fest, Big Sky Big Grass, SXSW Official '18 & '19, Treefort, Magic City Blues and toured in support of Shovels & Rope, Nicki Bluhm, Langhorne Slim, Jessica Lea Mayfield, The Infamous Stringdusters, Robert Randolph, Anders Osborne, Marc Broussard, and others.
