Description:
At 21 years old, my art has allowed me to bridge the gap between my nuanced identity and the midwestern cultural landscape I exist within. Through the Rocky Mountain nature, I've been able to rediscover my love for this place I call home, and my art reflects that in many ways. My poetry and paintings aim to challenge the individual to question what themes and symbols truly resonate with them, and my hope is that in understanding those unique differences and similarities, we can find common ground to inspire passionate dialogue and thriving communities of meaningful artistic expression.
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
