Eco Ornaments for Eco Art Tree

Calling all artists!

I would like to see art enter the Eco era and to that effect, my eco-store, Earth Friendly Options, would like to invite you to decorate the store Christmas/Holiday tree this year.

I am asking each interested Wyoming artist to make one or two ornaments (Christmas, Winter Solstice, etc.) in YOUR artistic style, using recycled, reclaimed or renewable materials (to stay with the theme of the store). For example, if you work in metal, use scrap metal to make the ornament. Please do NOT just send a miniature version of a painting! Manipulate it to make it look more like an ‘ornament.’ All media welcome. I work in weaving, colored pencil and paper mache. All ornaments should be ready to hang on a live evergreen tree, and will be for sale. You set the price and I add 15% for the store. Bring them or mail them by November 24th to Earth Friendly Options, 213 Grand Avenue, Laramie, Wyoming 82070.

In addition, if you provide a photo of yourself, brief bio and artist’s statement, limit one page, these will be displayed, also. This is an opportunity to get your name and work before the public. An ‘unveiling of the eco-art tree’ will be Thanksgiving weekend and any artists in the area are very WELCOME to attend.

Please rsvp as soon as possible. I need at least 20 artists to make this idea work well. I hope many of you will participate.

Thank you,

Jeny Stoesz
