Increasing Access to the Arts Across Wyoming

The Wyoming Arts Council’s Arts Access Project Grant is available to organizations for arts project funding designed to increase access to the arts for communities with limited access (individuals with a disability, older adults, veterans, economically disadvantaged individuals, rural communities, individuals with limited English proficiency, folk and traditional arts and artists, or others) through comprehensive and collaborative community engagement.

Arts Access Project Grant Guidelines

  • An organization is eligible to receive up to $1000 in this grant category. Individual artists cannot apply for this grant.
  • Organizations that did not receive a Community Support Grant are eligible to receive up to two Arts Council grants in the other grant programs for different programs/events, depending on criteria for each specific grant.
  • An organization will only be allowed to submit two Arts Access Project Grant applications per fiscal year. If one or both applications are denied, organizations are not eligible to reapply until the following fiscal year.
  • The Arts Access Project Grant distributes financial support based on scores assigned by a panel of experts and arts professionals on a “Fund/No Fund” model using the evaluation criteria.
  • Grants will be available until funds are expended.
  • All applications must be submitted a minimum of six weeks prior to the beginning of the project in which funds are being requested (the “Proposal Start Date” entered in your application).
  • No cash match is required, and In-kind contributions will be reported on the final report.

Before applying, all organizations must review the Wyoming Arts Council’s Grant Guidelines to ensure compliance and understand the application process.
