The Grand Teton Music Festival has announced its winter chamber music series in Walk Festival Hall during January, February, and March, 2008. These are the Festival’s first winter concerts to be held in the newly renovated and insulated Walk Festival Hall. The GTMF will welcome its summer Festival Orchestra musicians back to Jackson for a series of chamber music concerts Friday, January 11 (string quartet), Friday, February 15 (brass quintet), Thursday, March 13 (woodwind quintet), and Thursday, March 20 (percussion).
Concerts will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Walk Festival Hall, Teton Village. Single tickets go on sale December 10; prices are $25 Adults, $5 Students (ages 6-18 or with valid ID). The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
