The late Wyoming artist Harry Jackson said that his “spiritual birthplace” was the Pitchfork Ranch near Meeteetse where he worked as a young cowboy after coming West from Chicago.
Jackson’s artwork will travel to the Meeteetse Museums, 1947 State St., for the April 5 opening from 1-3 p.m. of “Harry Jackson in Meeteetse: His Early Works.”
The exhibit opening and celebration of Jackson’s 90th birthday will feature food by The Ranch Wife Gourmet and wines from the Buffalo Jump Winery. Presentations will be given by Matt Jackson and Harry Jackson Board President Mark Harris.
