The inaugural Wyoming Plein Air exhibition will be presented by The Link Gallery in partnership with the Deselms Fine Art in Cheyenne.
The artists will paint on location from Aug. 1-8. On Saturday, Aug. 9, a “quick draw” will be held outside of the downtown Cheyenne Depot Museum from 8:30-10:30 a.m. An auction will follow at 11 a.m. at the Historic Plains Hotel. The exhibition opens at noon at Deselms Fine Art, 124 W. Lincolnway, and The Link Gallery at 1609 Capitol Ave. The exhibition runs through Sept. 20. A gala reception and awards ceremony will be held from 4-8 p.m. at both galleries.
