News about the upcoming Western Design Conference:

The Western Design Conference (WDC), the world’s preeminent exhibition of Western furniture, fashion and accessories, returns to Jackson, Wyo.,September 4 – 7, 2014, with a new owner and expanded reach into Western home design and trends. Allison Merritt purchased the WDC after seven years as the conference’s Events Manager, continuing the strong commitment to the exhibit and sale’s one-of-a-kind juried Western arts and adding a new Designer Show House and Retail Row. The four-day conference opens Thursday, September 4 with a much anticipated party at the Snow King Center that includes jewelry and runway fashion shows, modeled by Jackson Hole locals. The celebration continues September 5 –7, also at Snow King, with the annual Western Design Conference Exhibit + Sale, showcasing museum-quality functional art by more than 115 Western-inspired artisans.
