Kids invited to make their own dinosaurs

On Saturday, October 11, families with children are invited to the Cheyenne Depot for “Dinosaurs at the Depot.” The children will hear dinosaur stories, and then help to construct dinosaurs including a 17-foot-long Triceratops (Wyoming’s official state dinosaur), a 14-foot Tyrannosaurus Rex, and an 11-foot Dimetrotradon. In addition, the children will build a nest for dino eggs. Children will also receive a free book and educational packet.

This program is part of the “Story Time at the Depot” series which is sponsored by Shauna McKusker, M.D., of the Cheyenne Eye Clinic. It’s offered every second Saturday at 1 p.m. from September to May.
