More information on 320 Studios:

The Lander Art Center has secured a 2,000-square-foot space on the Main Street block of Lander for expanded community classroom and studio space. This new space, LAC 320 Studios, is located a block away from our 224 Main Street location in the back of the 320 Main Street Building. The space hosts an open floor plan classroom space for ceramics, screen printing, printmaking and jewelry instruction and overall will function as a second classroom.

Six artist work spaces are available for rent as well as a studio for the artist in residence program. Anyone interested in a collaborative workspace is welcomed to rent a space on a 6-month contract. As of February, 4 of the 6 spaces have been rented. Rental spaces vary in size and rental price from $100 to $250 per month. Artists receive 24 access and use of classroom equipment including those listed above as well as paper cutter, printer, mat cutter, light-tight room, and professional photo equipment.

A major aspect of this new space is providing open studio times for those in our community to build skills, access equipment and collaborate. Open studios will be held each week with orientation classes on equipment use in space will be offered each month. We hope to create a place where our community can express their creative voice and build community through the arts. Open studio times start Thursdays in March from 6-9pm with more studio opportunities to come.

Need space and tools for your art making? Two studio spaces remain available!
