In recognition of Laura Jane Musser’s life-long commitment to excellence in the arts, and with awareness that pivotal and life-changing experience can occur for individuals through introduction to and participation in the arts. The Laura Jane Musser Fund hopes to encourage and excite a wider population to appreciate, learn, and participate in the arts.
The Laura Jane Musser Fund Arts Initiative has two funding programs: The Rural Arts Program and the Arts Residencies Program.
The application process instructions and link are available on the Musser Fund website at www.musserfund.org. Please carefully read all of the proposal packet requirements (as listed on the website) prior to submitting your proposal.
The application portal is open on-line through March 20, 2015. Fully completed, on-line proposals must be submitted before midnight on March 20. Funding decisions will be announced in July 2015.
The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
