Les Trompettes de Leon perform May 16 in Cheyenne

Les Trompettes de Leon will be performing on Friday, May 16, 7:30 p.m., at Central High School in Cheyenne. Tickets will be available at the door for $20 for adults, $10 for students.

About the group:

Five prodigiously competent trumpet masters, in no way starchy, will guide you with lightness, smartness and brilliance through all ages, forms and tones of their wonderful trumpets.  The ensemble was born in 1989 from the meeting of five musicians trained in the academies of music and universities of Lyon, France.  Today these very same musicians still compose that quite unique music group. While pursuing their classical training, these musicians have progressively let their taste for “quirky fun” run loose on stage – which has resulted in unabashedly entertaining and humorous shows that have met with ever increasing success.  Just another way of saying that this is a really fun  show – full of laughs – along with their fabulous musical talents.
