A talk by one of the “Lost Boys of Sudan,” that was scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 14, at the University of Wyoming has been cancelled.
Valentino Achak Deng had been scheduled to speak as part of a statewide lecture series sponsored by the UW International Studies Program. Deng returned to Africa to deal with a personal emergency.
UW professor Jean Garrison says the talk has not been rescheduled.

The Wyoming Arts Council believes that experiencing the arts should be accessible for all, including people with mental and/or physical disabilities, older adults, military/veterans, people living in institutions and those who lack access to the arts due to geographic isolation, cultural difference and economic hardship.
