From the Laramie County Public Library:

Miss “V”, the Gypsy Cowbelle [WAC roster artist], will be in concert this Friday, September 6, 6:30 pm at Laramie County Library in Cheyenne. For adults and families!  We’ll be outdoors in the library’s Performance Park if the weather is good (indoors in the Cottonwood Room if the weather is stormy).  Of course, it is free!

On Saturday, September 7 at 11am, Miss “V” will conduct a Homespun Instruments Workshop for ages 5-12.  Please sign up by calling 307.634.3561 or visiting our second floor “Ask Here” desk. Space is limited. Participants will join in on traditional tunes, playing a variety of “household” instruments, from washtubs and scrub boards to spoons and saws, and every shaker, bell and drum in between. Sing old favorites and learn them anew while you learn the creativity of making your own music and instruments.

Check our calendar for all events in September.  Pick up a copy of our special printed booklet noting all the America’s Music events in September and October.

Miss “V'”s performance and workshop are supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council, through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional funding is provided by the Kiwanis Club of Cheyenne. America’s Music is presented with support from the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra.
