Metaphors on exhibit at Lander Art Center

The Heap, The Pile, The Layer, The Metaphor: layering of meaning and media
will be exhibited Feb. 4–29 at the Lander Art Center in Lander. A free public reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8.

This is an exhibit “that shows artists layering of meaning and media to make their art and their statements. As this show follows the ‘Journals Exhibit,’ it is also like the logical progression of the art conjured up in the journal and then constructed in the art form.”

This show will include encaustic, collage, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, and metalsmithing.
