From the Wyoming Humanities Council:

The Wyoming Humanities Council received a 2014 National Endowment for the Humanities grant for Let’s Talk About It: Muslim Journeys, a cooperative project from the American Library Association and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

At the center of Muslim Journeys is a reading and discussion series composed of the following memoirs and novels: In the Country of Men by Hisham Matar, Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi, House of Stoneby Anthony Shadid, Broken Verses by Kamila Shamsie and Dreams of Trespass by Fatima Mernissi Through these five titles, readers will encounter life experiences in Muslim-majority societies. Look for Muslim Journeys in 2014 in Cheyenne at the Laramie County Library, and in Laramie at the Albany County Library. After that, the series will be available through Reading Wyoming. The University of Wyoming Muslim Student Association and the Toppan Rare Books Library at the American Heritage Center are also partners for Muslim Journeys.
