From a Ucross Foundation press release:
Greetings from Ucross! We want you to know about a unique opportunity for Ucross Fellows who are working in the visual or performing arts. Ucross Foundation is participating in an international “artistic circle” that will support one individual annually for a creative journey of art-making. Initiated by Ucross board member Jesse Marion and his wife Cathy, the Marion Fellowship for the Visual and Performing Arts provides an artist with the opportunity to create original art while experiencing a number of locations in the Marion Fellowship Circle: Ucross Foundation, Chautauqua Institution, the Alley Theatre, the Alberta College of Art and Design, and Springboard Schools in Egypt. The Marion Fellowship carries an award of $18,000 and a final project will be presented at SUNY Fredonia (Cathy’s alma mater) at the end of the artistic journey.
The application process is currently open and the deadline to apply is March 15, 2015.
