New roster artist: Rod McQueary


Rod McQueary is a cowboy poet from Recluse in Campbell County.

Rod has been performing cowboy poetry and humor for the better part of twenty years. While best known for humor, he is most proud of his collaborations with fellow cowboy poet Bill Jones, with whom he coauthored an acclaimed healing series of poetic work on Vietnam, Blood Trails. Rod has written Thinking Out Loud, a syndicated column and radio show, and has written, consulted, and assisted on numerous commercial projects, as well as publishing articles, book reviews and poetry in RANGE Magazine, American Cowboy, Buckaroo, and Between Earth and Sky. He’s been a favorite as a featured poet for the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nevada.
